ESTABLISHING INDONESIAN CORUPTION COURT IN EACH REGION CAN MINIMIZE THE NUMBER OF CORUPTION ACTION

EFECTIVELY AND EFICIENTLY

Ladies & gentleman

Before we discuss about our topic today, we must know first what’s the meaning of Indonesian Coruption Court (ICC)? In constitutional number eleven, two thousand and four there is explained that “Indonesian Coruption Court is a law institution that be assigned by Indonesian Goverment to eradicate big coruption in indonesia”.

Not only that, but also ICC brings big purpose to Indonesian people, namely :

Fisrt : Eradicate coruption action

Second : Saving money of the country from coruptor

Third : To keep law, justice and piece

Therefore, we can conclude that wellfare of Indonesian people is in the palm of ICC. Because if ICC can’t eradicate coruption, while the money that be Corrupted is money country, so it equal that ICC can’t keep wellfare of Indonesian people.

All of us in this room sure, believe that ICC can eradicate coruption action, for prove that, on 2006 they has saved Rp 27 Trilyun money of country and on 2007 they has saved Rp 30 Trilyun money of country and recently now on 2008 they has saved Rp 49 Trilyun money of country.

You know that, by Rp 49 Trilyun, our country can almost close the debt to foreign country such as America, Australia and malaysia. Not only that, but also by the sicnificant number that be showed by ICC, it means that they had increase their etos of work year by year. But, the big question in this topic is “what is  ICC had done their job efectively and eficiently or not?”

Even there is ICC, but coruption case in Indonesia still happend rampant. Coruption action not only happend in the big city such as Jakarta, West Java, etc, but also in all region of Indonesia Country. For example in Bengkulu, when 2008 happend coruption case namely Dispenda Gate that involved our governor, Agusrin M. Najamudin as the suspect. This case start from program Multy Year project (MYP),  because of there is an unbalance planing. In MYP, the planing is bigger  than the budget, therefore our governor take money from Provincial Budget, and start from this, the coruption case is happend and involved some legislative member in Bengkulu. And finally, this case be national case.

In east kalimantan governor and some state official member involved into coruption case that corrupt Rp 157 million.

In palembang chairperson of legislative house involved into coruption case that corrupt Rp 200 milllion.

And many other that we can’t say, start from open coruption case up to close coruption case.

Job of ICC be more heavy because, in covering coruption in Indonesia, ICC need much time. As we know that the procedur of covering the case are :

First : Investigation ;In this step, ICC need 2 month to collect information of the case.

Second : Examination ; ICC necessary to analize the information that had been collected, what’s the information valid or not.

Third : bring the case into the court

Fourth : Making the decision ; in this step, ICC must decide about two, first ‘who is the real suspect’ and second ‘what is the suitable punishment that must be given’

It still fresh in our mind about Arthalita Suryani Case, that case involved so many suspect, so the court confuse to determine who is the real suspect, and finally this case was finish in 3 month.

All of that isn’t mean that ICC is weak. And don’t think that ICC is an angel that falling from the sky to the earth and bring the holy mission namely to save Indonesian people. ICC is just contain normal human being same like you. As we know that the charateristics of human being are have a weakness and often do misstake. So, it isn’t suitable if we give ‘hot’ criticsm to ICC.

Therefore we should establish ICC in each region of Indonesia country. For example in Bengkulu we establish ICC that be named Bengkulu Coruption Court (BCC). So, if there is happend coruption case, so they can bring it into the coruption court that establish in their region. Beside it can cut the job ICC in central, it will be more eficient, because they can only focus on one coruption case.

Let’s imagine if there is only one ICC such now, so, when the first coruption case not finish yet, then appear the second coruption case that must be handled by ICC. In equal with we ask someone to bring the stone, and when he not finish yet his job we add the stone to him. How heavy is it.

We has know, two better than one. And three better than two. Therefore we should only establish ICC in each region to increase the efectivity and efficient.

But Ladies & gentleman,

Over it, support of Indonesian people to eradicate the corruption is absolutely needed. Therefore Ladies & gentleman we as Indonesian people should support goverment to eradicate coruption. STOP CORRUPTION AND SAVE OUR NATION!
