SEVEN POWERFUL RULES TO LEARN ENGLISH (part 1)

Always learn the phrase not individual word. When you read a text in English, you should not only translate one word into your own language but also write down the word that follow it. for example; 'He goes to the market'. now, let's say you do not know what 'goes'is, then in your note book you can write 'he goes', as we know 'he goes' is a phrase.

By doing so, you will learn the vocabulary and the grammar at the same time. How? Good question. when you write down 'he goes' you will notice that a singular subject (he)will always be followed by plural verb (goes). then in your brain you will remember that it should not be 'he go' or 'he gone' but 'he goes'.

In fact, translating method had been proved as a dull method in lerning vocabulary. translating method is just like this, you make a English vocabulary list in the left side of a paper, then next to it you write down the meaning in your own word. by doing this, you can not speak in English fluently. a research stated that translating method can damage the chunk of a sentence in speaking. it will create a strange pause because people speak it by a word, a word, then another word. a native speaker pauses between phrase. here is the example, if you learn translating method you could be speak in this way; 'he/goes/to/the/market' it is totally sound strange. the right chunk is this 'he goes/to the market'.

so, start from now, make a special notebook to note all the new vocabularies you found, but remember, do NOT only write down the word, but also the words around it.
